- Work with local Sales teams to develop marketing initiatives which support the Korea business objectives
- Develop messaging and go-to-market materials to support relevant products, capabilities, solutions, etc., both existing and new
- Manage Nielsen¡¯s digital assets in Korea, including Nielsen.com. -Ensure content is regularly refreshed, and work in collaboration with global marketing teams on corporate-level site requirements
Events
- Implement Nielsen hosted thought leadership events to establish leadership in the local market. Project manage the event and coordinate with key stakeholders for successful execution
- Identify industry events aligned and targeted to Nielsen¡¯s client base and develop an annual events calendar
- Work with local teams to identify presenters and topics for targeted industry events which demonstrate Nielsen¡¯s strengths and capabilities
Content Management
- Work with the global Thought Leadership team to stay abreast of the latest thought leadership materials
- Localizeglobal thought leadership materials
- Identify opportunities for local thought leadership content generation, and work alongside subject matter experts to develop local thought leadership pieces
- Co-create insight articles and opinion pieces to establish leadership in the research industry
- Maintain the Korea website with regular content updating
Public Relations
- Establish and maintain relationships with key media contacts to ensure regular and on-going exposure in target business and trade press
- Manage and coordinate responses to inbound media inquiries, working with local spokespeople and analysts on ad hoc opportunities arising through journalist inquiries and requests for data and/or expert commentary on topical issues
- Leverage various media channels including print, broadcast, online and social media
Internal Communications
- Lead, establish and maintain regular internal communications activities and channels which deliver key business messages to associates, improve employee engagement, and improve associate understanding of Korea strategy and vision (i.e. via town halls, organizing various social activities to propagate a work/life balance culture, etc.)
- Work with the local leadership team to prepare key announcements and communications as required
- Leverage Nielsen¡¯s various internal communications channels and work towards building employee engagement on these channels such as Google+, Nielsen Now, etc.
Others
- Assume responsibility for any ad-hoc tasks or projects as required
- Collaborate with other internal and external resources as appropriate
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience, preferably with a Bachelor`s degree in Marketing/Communications
- Solid understanding of corporate communications, B2B marketing, event management, digital marketing, and internal communications
- Excellent editorial and writing skills both in Korean and English, with a keen eye for details
- Ability to work across cross-cultural teams across teams in different job functions
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and also work collaboratively in a team
- Experience in Salesforce (email marketing), Wordpress, MS suite, and Google suite
